I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) providing mental health services Adolescents and Adults. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida in 2011. I then went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida in 2013 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina. I received training in Level II EMDR by EMDRIA and have completed the prestigious North Carolina Child Treatment Program for Certification and Rostering in TF-CBT which is one of the only few programs recognized by the DHHS. ​
With Adolescents, I address issues of abuse, trauma, behavioral disorders such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, behavioral problems, and adjustment issues to grief & divorce. I use Evidence Based Practices such as Trauma Focused CBT, DBT as well as EMDR. I am also skilled in Child Centered Play Therapy and CBT therapy for children. I incorporate parents in the children’s treatment as appropriate.
I has been working in the mental health field for over 12 years. I have worked as an outpatient therapist, in residential homes, child development programs, and have provided In- Home services in addition to working in Private Practice.
