Shannon is the supervisor for the Mecklenburg County Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Program. Addressing the mental health and emotional well-being of a young child lays the groundwork for long-term well-being and can prevent the development of more serious issues as the child grows.
Shannon has worked for 14 years in the infant and early childhood space focusing on children that have experienced trauma. She is certified in the evidence-based model Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), in the parent support program Attachment Biobehavioral Catchup Infant/Early Childhood (ABC), a graduate of the accredited C.A.S.E.
