I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and hold a Master of Social Work degree from UNC Chapel Hill. As a queer, Latino, immigrant in a large body, I understand firsthand how identity, culture, and lived experiences shape our mental health. I also know how deeply oppression can impact our sense of self, safety, and belonging. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued and don’t have to explain or justify your experiences, but instead, can focus on healing and growth. My approach is based in an anti-oppressive lens that recognizes the ways society affects our mental health and self-perception. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based and person-centered approaches to help you understand yourself, navigate the challenges in your life, and make choices that feel true to you. I’m here to support you in a way that is compassionate, collaborative, and affirming. You deserve a space where you can show up as your full self and work toward your goals, and I would be honored to partner with you on that journey.
