Hello! My name is Germanee Foster and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bennett College and a Master’s in Social Work from the joint program in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University- Aggie Pride! I’ve spent my years in the field supporting individuals to address symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and other challenges along the way. I believe in creating a non-judgemental and brave space for clients to be themselves and create space for their healing journey. In session, I will utilize a various blend of therapeutic modalities based on client’s needs. My areas of interest in therapeutic modalities include trauma-informed care including Internal Family Systems, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Counseling and Play Therapy. I am able to offer Faith-Based services into session if you desire to incorporate christian beliefs into therapy.
