I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist with experience supporting neurodiverse children and adolescents, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. I received my clinical training from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I earned my Master of Social Work degree. My education and hands-on experience have shaped a strong foundation for providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. I am deeply committed to creating a warm, safe, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to share their experiences openly. I strive to meet each individual where they are and provide a space in which they feel comfortable discussing stressors, emotions, and challenges. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I believe that every individual possesses unique qualities and abilities, and I work closely with clients to help them recognize their strengths and what makes them unique. Together, we focus on developing effective coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and fostering confidence to move forward toward becoming their best self. I am trained in both Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing me to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs. Using DBT-informed strategies, I support clients in building skills related to mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through CBT, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. I value the therapeutic relationship and aim to build trust through empathy, consistency, and collaboration. My goal is to empower clients with the tools and insight they need to navigate challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth.
